West Lafayette, IN
I'm very lucky to have been able to call Purdue University my home for the past few years. At Purdue, I am currently striving for a degree in Computer Engineering, planning to graduate in May 2026. I've explored many extracurricular opportunities as well, such as research, teaching assistants, and a supplemental instruction leader. I am also a proud member of Sigma Nu's Beta Zeta chapter, and Eta Kappa Nu's Beta chapter on campus.
Digital System Design Lab TA
I worked as an ECE 27000 Lab TA for the duration of the spring 2024 semester. This role taught me how to guide struggling students in the right direction, without giving away too much information, by reenforcing fundamental principles needed to complete the lab activity. Learning to balance assistance versus being a "key" or "cheat sheet" for students was difficult to manage but ultimately served as a great experience for myself.
Physics TA
Starting in January, 2023, I picked up a position as a PHYS 17200 TA at Purdue. Through this job I have learned how to best demonstrate leadership by taking initiative in the classroom activities. The classroom environment was built heavily around group work, so learning how to foster student-student engagement was crucial. I kept this position for three semesters and loved every second of it, however I am moving onto bigger and better opportunities.
Digital System Design SI Leader
Next semester, I'll be continuing my role as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, this time for ECE 27000 (Digital System Design). I'm excited to bring the same energy and structure to ECE 270 that I did in 2K2!
Electrical Engineering Fundamentals II SI Leader
As an SI Leader for ECE 20002 (Electrical Engineering Fundamentals II), I held in-person supplemental instruction sessions twice a week and led exam review sessions throughout the semester. I created all my own content including practice problems, slideshows, and review activities, to help students engage with class concepts. The role strengthened my leadership and communication skills while deepening my understanding of core EE topics.
